What LiteSpeed actually is
Most people buy “hosting” and never meet the web server. That is the program that hears a visitor, finds the page, and sends it back. LiteSpeed is that program.
A web server is not the website
WordPress is the site. LiteSpeed is the receptionist. Every click asks LiteSpeed first. If it already has a finished copy of that page, it hands it over and WordPress stays idle.
Apache, Nginx, and LiteSpeed do the same job
Apache is common and flexible, but each extra visitor costs more memory. Nginx is light and fast, but it does not read per-folder .htaccess files. LiteSpeed is event-driven like Nginx, and it still understands Apache rules.
The plugin is not the cache
The free LiteSpeed Cache plugin talks to the server. The actual copy of the page is kept by LiteSpeed itself — not by PHP, and not by a plugin folder on disk. Without a LiteSpeed server, that plugin can only minify and tidy files.

What happens when someone opens your page
WordPress is a workshop. On an uncached visit it asks the database, runs plugins, and assembles HTML. That is fine for one reader. It is slow when fifty people arrive at once.

SSD Web Hosting already runs LiteSpeed. Move to LiteSpeed Cloud when the smaller plans feel tight — more visitors, a shop, or a campaign — and you still want us to run the server. If you need root or your own software stack, that is a VPS, not this page.
Is LiteSpeed a plugin I install?
No. LiteSpeed is the web server on the machine. The free LiteSpeed Cache plugin for WordPress is only the remote control: it tells the server what to keep and when to drop a copy. Full-page caching needs the LiteSpeed server. On Apache or Nginx the same plugin can only do file optimisation.
Will my WordPress site work without changes?
Typical WordPress sites do. LiteSpeed Enterprise reads .htaccess, so pretty permalinks and common redirects keep working. After the move, install or enable the LiteSpeed Cache plugin so WordPress can purge the right pages when you publish.
Does this make WooCommerce faster?
It can, for catalogue and content pages that are safe to cache. A cart and checkout mix public and private bits. Enterprise LiteSpeed can cache the page and leave a hole (ESI) for the basket. A badly built theme or a huge uncompressed image will still be slow.
Do I get root access or SSH?
No. This is managed website hosting. You manage the site from the hosting control panel that ships with the plan. Root access is on VPS hosting.
Do you include a CDN or QUIC.cloud?
Server-level LSCache runs here, on the origin. QUIC.cloud is a separate service from LiteSpeed Technologies (image optimisation, a CDN, and similar extras). It is not assumed in the plan price. If you already use it, it can sit in front; ask us before you change DNS.
Where are the servers?
In India — Kolkata and Noida. The order page shows which location applies to the plan you pick. Visitors in India typically reach the site sooner than they would on a host that only has foreign nodes.
Can you move my site from another host?
We can review the website, database, and mailboxes first. Scope, eligibility, and any fee are agreed before work starts. We do not start a move on a guess.
Are backups and SSL included?
They are listed on each plan. Some plans include them; some offer them as options. Read the plan card and the order page rather than assuming a house default.
